Very nicely written. I, too, am a survivor of childhood neglect and emotional abuse, along with three head traumas, one of which I was not expected to survive.

Only now am I realizing the magnitude of all the traumas combined and how they have affected my psychiatrically and socially, as well as in the learning and working environment.

Hi Cora, thanks for your post, I've done the hiding in over work routine and have collapsed into depression too many times. I've just started to learn about CPTSD (after finding out my ACE score) and realised my meltdowns may in fact be emotional flashbacks. Looking forward to learning more and growing more :-)
