Given that the DSM-5 does not yet recognize cptsd. I have duel diagnostics of PTSD and BPD. I live in a rural area and I'm actually teaching my therapist/counselor about cptsd as I learn more about it. She is young and willing to learn, thankfully. For over 50 years I was HIGHLY medicated for Bipolar, and Schizophrenia as well as depression and anxiety. Now that I am free of all psych meds I am learning about emotions for the first time. I still am trying to learn how to cry. A very awkward and foreign process.
