					<description><![CDATA[Thank you for your thoughtful insights on cptsd. I’m a sixty-one year old grandmother of six who is currently in the hurricane. I’ve also been diagnosed with bipolar-1. I’ve been caring for my adult son, who has brain cancer, for three years now. Last year I experienced compassion fatigue and then the pre-verbal flashbacks started. Fortunately, I had already been seeing my therapist for a couple of years and she knows me well. I guess what I really want to say is that labeling and learning about what has caused me so much pain in my life is my way of coping right now. That and my wonderful children and grandchildren.]]></description>
