My brother sexually abused my son at a young age. I feel like I need to hide that fact so the family doesn't get a bad reputation. I've made sure my son doesn't receive any counseling or treatment for his Bulimia, Purging, etc. He's tried to commit suicide also. Now, he/she (half trans) is a young adult living me. I even sometimes enjoy watching him go through mental stress. It makes me feel good I don't know why. Can someone send me some information...I don't know what to do at this point. The situation is in way to deep and I want to stop. n15120 cleveland st. amberg wi 54120. thank you Melinda

When I started to read this article, I couldn't believe what I was reading. Finally, I found the information that I needed to have. I was in 11 yr marriage that took many years of therapy to understand the mental abuse I experienced. When I filed for divorce, my ex-husband showed his true narcissist colors brilliantly. But I had to battle in trying to save my kids. Unfortunately, I lost. If I only knew how to react and outsmart a narcist, the events of my divorce would have turned out much differently. During the divorce, we had two children (daughter was 12 yrs and son was 10 yrs) at the time. My ex-husband started to manipulate and turn the kids against me. My daughter fell right into his trap but my son was able to maintain a relationship with me. I learned later from my son that my ex-husband told our children the reason why the kids didn't live with me is because I was mentally ill and incapable. Wow that was so disheartening to hear. At one point my ex-husband told me that he wishes that I would die and go away. There is so much more to say but the bottom-line is I was so grateful to read this article. I finally have complete affirmation of what happened to me. It's a sign of relief! As for my son, he has been enlightened, and he is now understanding the truth of who is dad really is.
My daughter definitely has Trauma Bonding syndrome. But I don't know how share this information with her and how to get the help she needs. I am grateful that we can now work with informational material to which we can refer to.

I didn’t have any expectations concerning that title, but the more I was astonished. The author did a great job. I spent a few minutes reading and checking the facts. Everything is very clear and understandable. I like posts that fill in your knowledge gaps. This one is of the sort.
