Passed Scientific Review by Department of Defense US Army Medical Command for Complicated PTSD.
Due to "not being a member of the American Psychological Association" those members have refused to engage to assist a wide span PTSD Medical Study with me.
An example of a Vietnam Veteran who was smelling burning human flesh due to a helicopter crash, which burned his friend to death.

The theory of the treatment:
Without the "event" the emotions of anger and fear could not be engaged
With the "event" and the continued reviewing of the failure of self, to not stop the event, or placing emotional assignment of blame, or other continuance of anger and fear, the emotional assignment of the event is rehearsed.
Just as the rehearsal of other skills, the emotional assignment is improved and becomes focused upon
Addressing the "initial event" so the individual "feels safe" in the fear event, the entire behavior can be CORRECTED.

My training was achieved in 1984 by Dan Roden a former Naval Aviator in Colorado Springs. His training was to achieve the Emotional Reframe, at a rate of five emotional memories per session.

I am preparing an open clinic in Walsenburg Colorado - December 2024. I can be contacted at TheRiekerGroup@yahoo.com

In reply to <a href="https://cptsdfoundation.org/2020/08/03/the-difficulty-of-finding-a-therapist-for-complex-post-traumatic-stress-disorder/#comment-23462">Joseph Shipman</a>.

Joseph, I hope you come back and read this. Your life is precious. You matter. I have prayed for you and asked God to intervene in your life and meet you where you are; Jesus is real and there is hope for you. If you knew my story, you would think yourself lucky. One of the tricks of life is to make you think that you're all alone, that no one understands what you're going through and that there is no hope. All those things are a lie. You are not alone. There is a way through life, Jesus said 'I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me.' God did not promise us a life without trouble but He did promise not to leave us to struggle through it alone. If you can find it in your heart to ask God for help through accepting Jesus Christ's sacrificial death for you; I know your life will begin to change. I said change, not problem free.

****** There are solutions! Even the moderater of this blog said, if you send a message someone will contact you back and if you don't hear back, email her directly. Email her at sdavis8966@hotmail.com; her name is Shirley and ask for a referral for someone in your area to help you. This site also offers scholarships to help financially. *********

There IS hope and there is help and you are not alone. Many times we have to be PERSISTENT to get the help we need! Don't give up. Everyone on this page is right here with you, we are all trying to get better! Keep going. I BELIEVE YOU ARE WORTH IT, Joseph Shipman!

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

Jesus loves you so much, and wants to know you and help you that He died for you.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

God cares about your heart and how you feel! There is a promise in Psalm 147 verse 3 that says, "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." God cares how you feel and allowed Jesus to be born into this world to show us the way back to God, to forgive our sins, to help us, to show us the way.

You cannot just check out on life because it is hard. I know. I have been down that path and coming back from it is almost as hard as what took me there in the first place. But, it is worth it. I know I have help in Jesus. You are loved and Jesus is real and He wants to help you. Let Him. Will you believe in Jesus? Will you hope in Him that He can help? God has so much more for you. " For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11

Now, I don't know if this post will remain up because in truth, belief in Christ Jesus is offensive to some people. Either way, I know that God has heard and answered my prayers for you.

But know this...God is real, Jesus loves you, you matter and you have a purpose in life. Be determined to find out what that purpose is that God has for you and be determined to receive healing. Prayer to God is as easy as breath and it starts with acknowledging to God that you are not enough to save your own life or cover your own sins. God sent Jesus in the flesh to die on a cross for you so you would not have to have a miserable life. If you will acknowledge Jesus's sacrifice and accept what Jesus did to save your life by shedding His own blood, you can ask Jesus to come and live inside your heart and save you and transform you! You will now have HELP, real help from someone that will never leave you and never let you down. Pray to God about EVERYTHING. Ask for help to find a church and go there so you can be encouraged and people can show you care and you will have community, a tribe, learn about God and all that Jesus wants to show you.
"Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I’m fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me? Hebrews 13:5 The Message Bible, all other scriptures were from the King James Version of the Holy Bible. Be encouraged! You are meant to be here and have a good life! Let God help you and show you the way; He can open up doors to help you.

As I sit in a darkened room, the curtains drawn; perhaps to symbolically shut out the world, or remove myself from the world; I scour the internet, searching for hope.
I say 'Hope', I mean a therapist, who can help me, and not attack my reality with their inability to understand and treat me for my past; for the past 50 years of trauma in one form or another; from the most severe to the least.
I know there is no one in this country anyway, but can I find someone further afield, overseas....with internet, it is now possible to have therapy beyond borders.
I don't have many more years left to waste by going to therapy with untrained therapists without the knowledge that there is world where abuse and trauma exists on a level beyond their understanding and I no longer want to be looked at with suspicion in their eyes because they think I am making it up, or exaggerating.

I have cptsd due to medical trauma. Due to years giving me antidepressants and more, it was a nightmare. It's taken me many years to put it all together but I needed answers. I doctored for 18 years while the slowly poisoned me, the sicker I got the more I went to Dr. (SO much happened to me in those years but take to long) they were causing neurotoxicity, poisoning of the brain and nervous system. What u go through and nowhere to turn. U go to Dr and they give you more pills. Can't turn to friends and family, they are sick of you being sick with no diagnosis, it gets so bad u get spells where the pain is so bad u black out, I would be unconscious. I would tell the Dr and the looked blank. You see the p40 enzyme some people are low to no metabolizers of the pills Dr gives and they don't see that to this day cause I run onto same problem with mother. I really want help dealing with all this with someone that knows about these problems. Thank you
