This made me cry. “Sensitive” is such a trigger word for me. I’m in my 50s but still am followed around by a dark cloud of “You’re too sensitive. What’s wrong with you? Your brother and sister aren’t upset!” and “Stop being so sensitive and go to your room until you can be happy.”
