I have been feeling so incredibly isolated leaving a toxic lesbian relationship. I was sexually assaulted by a woman and a counselor told me that because they wouldn’t be able to test for bodily fluids (semen) it would be my word against hers and most likely, nothing would happen.

Hearing that it’s not only me, that other LGBTQ2 individuals are experiencing similar problems with accessing safe assistance is incredibly empowering. Thank you again for being a light on the path during my first few steps out of this darkness!
