I am a 66 year old man who suffered abuse, physical and sexual, was abandoned and eventually at 13 began to live on the street.

Just recently I have sought help. I tried to tough it out for years, but could no longer carry the weight alone. I was desperately afraid of what my family, friends and church would think if I sought professional help.

I still fear the stigma, but I fear more ending my life the way it started – alone.
