Hi Jeanne, thanks for reaching out. I&#039;m sorry to hear that you had a similar childhood but glad you found a way through your writing. I&#039;ve seen your book. It must have been hard to write it. My memoir was the most difficult writing I&#039;ve ever done, but I&#039;m better for it.

And, like you, one day sat down and started writing the entire story.  Never before had I looked at the abuse as other than a series of separated incidents producing their own memory pictures and emotions of abuse.
