Amazing post! I am going through this right now, and so pleased to see that while I feel the deep effects of that foundational early wounding, I no longer live from that place. I believe I am in the process of being . . . well, not exactly abandoned or rejected, but not accepted. And I feel it, grieve it, and begin to process it. I find I can survive it as an adult, in a way that I could not as a young boy.

I choose to be Open, Authentic, and Vulnerable in this world, and this is the risk I run. It's well worth it for me to be Alive, Present, Wholehearted, and Loving.
