Thanks for the article Miriam.

I am late Dxed Austitic with active CPTSD 'won' through horrible encounters with the mental health system that refuses to learn how to help me.

21 years ago I met a wonderful psychiatrist who saw me 2x week, answered phone calls & emails. She was always up to date with the latest medication & therapeutic techniques.

Maggie knew I was autistic after the 1st month of working with her (circa 2001) as well as validating my ACEs & other traumas. She never though I had BPD or cluster B trairs.

At 70 yrs old, she retired. I have since been Dxed Autistic & have severe CPTSD as described above.
I have never been able to find anyone, private or publicly funded who will work with me. Do I ever miss Maggie, my wonderful psychiatrist.

If anyone out there knows of registered discipline that might work with a Lated dxed (59 yo,) person who also has severe trauma issues, Miriam? Would ok for others to pass on?

Many thanks again Miriam! And thanks to those reading as well,
