Breaking the Silence Like a Badass
October 22, 3:30pm Pacific / 6:30pm Eastern (including access to 7-day replay)
A FREE 90-minute Live Training with Rachel Grant
What if breaking the silence isn’t about confronting someone – but about reclaiming your voice?
For survivors of sexual abuse, silence can become a way of life.
Maybe you were told to keep the abuse a secret. Maybe you decided not to tell because you didn’t think anyone would understand, believe you, or care. Maybe you’ve shared pieces of your story and been met with denial, minimization, rationalization, or responses that left you wishing you’d stayed quiet.
Whatever the reason, carrying a secret can affect the way you show up in relationships, intimacy, communication, and even the way you see yourself.
And eventually, you may find yourself wondering:
- “How do I talk about this without falling apart?”
- “What if they don’t believe me?”
- “What if they see me differently?”
- “What if telling them changes everything?”
- “What if I finally tell the truth and it doesn’t go the way I hoped?”
I’ve been there.
And I’ve also helped survivors navigate these conversations in ways that allow them to stay connected to themselves, their truth, and their power.
In this masterclass, I’ll teach you how to prepare for a conversation about the abuse – so you can stop letting fear, shame, or uncertainty make the decision for you.

Who Is This For?
This masterclass is for survivors of sexual abuse who are considering whether – and how – to break the silence about what happened.
It’s especially for you if you:
- Have been carrying the secret of your abuse and are tired of hiding part of yourself
- Want to tell a partner, friend, family member, or someone else in your life about what happened
- Have thought about speaking to the person who abused you but aren’t sure what you actually want from that
- Are afraid that people will see you differently if you tell them
- Worry about being denied, blamed, minimized, or misunderstood
- Want to be able to talk about the abuse without becoming overwhelmed or losing your sense of yourself
- Have shared your story before and wish you had been better prepared for the response
- Know you aren’t ready to have the conversation yet, but want to understand what would need to be in place before you do
And importantly, you do not have to decide during this class that you’re going to tell anyone.
You don’t have to confront your abuser.
You don’t have to disclose anything you aren’t ready to disclose.
You simply need to be willing to explore what it could look like to use your voice in a way that feels grounded, intentional, and true to you.
What You'll Learn
By the end of this 90-minute session, you’ll walk away with:
✔ Learn the 3 foundations for having a healthy conversation about the abuse, including staying grounded in your truth, managing triggers, and shifting from confrontation to self-expression.
✔ Discover how to assess your readiness for the conversation and identify what you may need to have in place before taking that step.
✔ Learn how to define success based on how you show up – rather than whether the other person responds the way you hope – so you can speak your truth without handing your power over to their response.
✔ Learn how to create a simple script for the conversation so you can communicate what you need to say without having to find the “right words” in the moment.
✔️ Yes / No / Something Else?
Not sure if this is for you? That’s okay. Let’s make it simple:
Yes: You’re thinking about breaking the silence, want to have a conversation about the abuse, or want to feel more confident about how you would handle one.
No: You’re not currently interested in exploring how to talk about your experience or whether you’re ready to have that kind of conversation.
Something else: You’re curious, unsure, or somewhere in between – and you’d like a safe space to explore what breaking the silence might mean for you.
Either way, you’re welcome to show up exactly as you are.
🎧 How to Get the Most Out of This Training
Most importantly, you will be given many opportunities to:
This is not a passive lecture.
You’ll have opportunities to:
- Reflect on the fears that may be keeping you silent
- Assess where you are in your readiness to have a conversation
- Work through the 5-step Game Plan
- Think through different scenarios and how you might respond
- Begin creating your own plan for a conversation
- Identify what you can control – and what you need to let go of
So I highly recommend having pen and paper nearby so you can capture insights as they land for you.
My intention is that you leave this class with more than just the courage to “tell.”
I want you to leave with a clearer understanding of what you need in order to use your voice without abandoning yourself in the process.
Because breaking the silence isn’t about winning an argument.
It isn’t about forcing someone to admit what they did.
And it isn’t about getting the perfect response.
