It has become a sacred space for me to return to again and again. This is new for me, I’ve never experienced this before. Home. It is what I imagine ‘home’ to feel like. So grateful!!!!!
These calls have changed my life. I feel encouraged every time I join my “framily” on a daily call. I know I’m supported, and I feel comfortable in sharing my struggles.
I never realized how helpful these calls could be. I’m so glad I decided to joined, and take a chance on myself. I learn so much, and always feel validated when I have the opportunity to join a call.
What are the calls and How do they work?
Daily Recovery Support is a program that was created for survivors of complex trauma who need additional support in between individual therapy sessions.
This program provides daily, interactive, calls in a safe atmosphere, with certified coaches, licensed clinicians, authors, and leading advocates who know what it means to not only survive but thrive.
7 Days a Week, 365 Days a Year, we come together on a group call on our Zoom platform, complete with the ability to utilize screen shares, a member chatbox, and the option to interact with the hosts and other members if you choose. The calls audio only, no cameras are used.
There is never any pressure to interact with the hosts or others; you are welcome to just come and take in the information if you prefer.
It’s a very “come as you are, no pressure” atmosphere. We appreciate you without any judgment, always.
How do I join the calls?
Calls are hosted in the CPTSD Foundation Zoom account. This platform is HIPAA compliant and offers the versatility of audio, video, and live chat interaction, so you feel right at home. Knowing our voice is heard and acknowledged is powerfully transforming for all complex trauma survivors.
Join via your computer, phone, tablet, or using the Zoom app which can be found on your smartphones’ app store.
Calls last 45 minutes, each day, 365 days a year.
Once you subscribe using PayPal or credit card, you will be emailed a confirmation of your subscription.
Next, you begin receiving regular correspondence from us here at the Foundation, which will include your link to log in to our private Zoom meeting room, as well as your passcode.
Calls will be audio-only, with interaction from survivors like you, typing out questions, commenting, and providing peer support.
You have the option of using audio to ask your question if you prefer, however, there is no pressure to speak or chat with anyone. This is your own unique experience. This is your recovery journey. We honor you and your experience.
We will do occasional webinars, art workshops, and video conferences in the future, so be sure and stay tuned to your email and join as many calls as you can so you’re always in the know.

Interested in leading a call?
Are you a clinician, coach, or advocate specializing in a particular area of trauma recovery?
If so, we are interested in talking to you!
We are always looking for professionals who would be interested in leading a call or series of calls with our members, on a particular area of your expertise.
We cover a wide range of topics, including Shame & Guilt, Anxiety, Food Issues, Narcissistic Abuse Recovery, Grief, and more. See our calendar for a schedule of topics, and if one of them matches your specialty, please let us know by heading over to our call leader information page.
Who Hosts the Calls?
The daily recovery support calls are hosted primarily by Athena Moberg, Veronica Anderson, Sabra Cain, and Matthew Pappas. Both Athena and Matt are Certified Coaches, Trauma-Informed, and experienced in working with survivors both in their own private practices, as well as in group environments and events.
Veronica is a Mindfulness Facilitator and Coach, with a private practice in addition to leading the Mindfulness, Prayer, and Meditation Circle here at CPTSD Foundation.
Sabra is finishing her MSW program in 2021 and has experience in many therapy modalities, including EMDR. She also leads the Healing Book Club every Saturday.
Perhaps the most significant thing which sets them apart is the fact that they are all survivors themselves, which means you receive a level of compassionate support that can only come from lived experience.
Periodically, trauma experts, therapists, authors, LCSWs, and other special guest hosts who are personally selected will be joining CPTSD Foundation to share their expertise as well.
Call topics are requested by you, the survivor. This is your unique experience and we honor you.
Additionally, meditation calls, prayer calls, and other opportunities for you to heal in your own way, at your own pace – these are all being added.
Our goal is to always provide you with incredible support, sound knowledge, useful tools, information, and strategies you can use on a daily basis in your healing journey.
