About This Role

Join our T.I.C. Social Media team to create content that reaches survivors where they are. Working under Jen’s leadership, you’ll help manage our presence across your preferred platforms, like Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

What You’ll Do

  • Create trauma-informed posts that educate without triggering
  • Design graphics that convey safety and hope (Graphics Team)
  • Write captions that validate and inspire (Content Team)
  • Engage with our community with genuine warmth (Communication Team)
  • Share resources that can change someone’s day
  • Ensure all content aligns with our mission and values

Specialized Roles Within T.I.C.

  • Graphics Team: Visual storytelling through healing-centered design
  • Content Team: Writing that resonates with survivor experiences
  • Communication Team: Responding to comments and messages with validation

What We’re Looking For

  • Understanding of trauma-informed communication

  • Ability to convey complex topics simply
  • Creativity balanced with sensitivity

Content Principles You’ll Follow

  • No use of triggering imagery or descriptions
  • Provide content warnings when needed
  • Focus on hope and healing, not just struggle
  • Respect survivor experiences without exploiting them

Time Commitment

  • 5-10 hours per week is preferred
  • Flexible scheduling with some deadline requirements
  • Regular team meetings via Teams

Spread Hope Through Strategic Outreach

About This Role

Working under Mark’s leadership, help expand CPTSD Foundation’s reach through promotional campaigns, partnerships, and strategic outreach initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop promotional strategies for our programs
  • Create campaigns for Daily Recovery Support enrollment
  • Build relationships with aligned organizations
  • Coordinate promotional content with T.I.C. Social Media team
  • Track campaign effectiveness and adapt strategies
  • Find new channels to reach survivors in need

  • Marketing or promotional experience
  • Understanding of trauma-informed messaging
  • Creative thinking about reaching vulnerable populations
  • Data-driven approach to campaign improvement

Create compelling video content that makes complex trauma recovery accessible, relatable, and hopeful. Your videos will reach survivors who learn better through watching than reading.
