Keep Our Foundation Running Smoothly
About This Role
Work with our team to ensure smooth daily operations, allowing our programs to focus on serving survivors. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to our mission.
What You’ll Do
- Process member inquiries and applications
- Maintain organizational records and databases
- Coordinate volunteer schedules and onboarding
- Support scholarship application processing
- Assist with member communications
- Help track program metrics and reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail with heart for people
- Comfortable with digital tools and databases
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Written communication skills
- Self-directed work style
The Unique Responsibility
You’ll often be the first point of contact for survivors reaching out. Your warmth and efficiency can make the difference between someone getting help or giving up.
Time Commitment
- 5-10 hours per week
- Some consistent hours for member support
- Otherwise flexible scheduling

Volunteer Coordinator
Nurture the Hearts That Give
About This Role
Our volunteers give so much of themselves. As Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll ensure they feel supported, valued, and never alone in this sometimes heavy work. You’ll be the guardian of our volunteers’ wellbeing.
What You’ll Do
- Regular check-ins with all volunteers across teams
- Facilitate monthly decompression/support calls
- Coordinate volunteer onboarding and training
- Track volunteer hours and capacity
- Recognize burnout signs and offer support
- Create volunteer appreciation initiatives
- Build community among our volunteer teams
- Ensure volunteers feel seen, heard, and validated too
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in volunteer management or HR
- Understanding of secondary trauma and burnout
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to hold space for helpers who need help
- Organizational skills to track multiple teams
- Genuine care for volunteer wellbeing
- Understanding that volunteers often have their own trauma histories
The Sacred Responsibility
You’re caring for the carers. When volunteers feel supported, they can show up fully for survivors. Your role prevents burnout and ensures sustainable service.
Support Structures You’ll Create
- Regular team decompression sessions
- Peer support for volunteers
- Clear boundaries and self-care protocols
- Recognition and appreciation programs
Time Commitment
- 10 hours per week is preferred
- Regular availability for volunteer concerns
- Monthly facilitation of decompression calls is welcomed
