Do you provide therapy or counseling?
CPTSD Foundation provides a tertiary means of support; adjunctive care. We do not provide counseling or therapy. Our industry-leading ancillary products and services are intended to supplement individual therapy. Each of our members should be engaged in individual therapy and medically stable. Nothing on this website or any associated CPTSD Foundation websites, is a replacement for or supersedes the direction of your medical or mental health provider, nor is anything on this or any associated CPTSD Foundation website a diagnosis, treatment plan, advice, or care for any medical or mental health illness, condition, or disease.
What is CPTSD?
Also referred to by C-PTSD, Complex Trauma, and Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. We’ve put together a handy reference page that includes not only a well defined response to “What is CPTSD” but also a series of blog posts that further expand on complex trauma.
Do you offer discounts or free trials?
To help protect the privacy of our members, we cannot allow free trials of our programs. However we’ve created a free resource called, Learn More. This program allows you to watch and listen to examples of many of our programs. These samples are previously recorded versions of the live calls or classes for each, and give you an idea of how they work.
Do you have Free programs?
Yes! We do offer some programs and resources which are completely free. You can find a list of available programs on our CPTSD Resources page.
How do I join programs with live calls?
Many of our programs have a live call component, in addition to private groups online. You can join the live calls for your program by clicking on the links inside our online community which you will have access to upon completion of your registration.
Additionally, some programs are held exclusively on our Circle platform for both live program calls and interactive online groups. When you register, you’ll do so directly on Circle. Once your registration is complete you’ll be able to login with the credentials you set up during the process. You can then access your program via the Circle apps or on your computer.
What if I miss a call for my program?
Not to worry, we record live calls of most of our programs and load them up in your exclusive members area or inside our safe online community so you can watch and listen to them anytime, on your own schedule. There is also no requirement to join every call for our programs, you can join and participate as little or as much as you like.
*Live calls are not recorded for the Pride Support program, and any calls that use cameras on Daily Recovery Support are also not recorded.
What if I'm not comfortable speaking or interacting on a group call?
No problem at all, you are never required to share using your voice or type in the chat box. You can participate as you feel safe in doing so, and as little or as much as you like. It’s your unique experience.
I'm concerned about my privacy.
We take your privacy very seriously. We do not sell or share your information to outside parties except as outlined in our Privacy Policy, in which case emails may be shared between affiliates or partners of CPTSD Foundation only, and where applicable programs and resources are made available.
When you register for a program, you are welcome to use an alias name, or your first name and last initial. This applies to Zoom calls, live calls on our Circle platform, and our private groups online. Information on calls and in private online groups is not shared with any outside party.
If you register for a program that has a paid membership, those transactions are secure and encrypted through PayPal or Stripe.
When are your live calls held?
Each program has its own schedule of when the live call portion of that program is held. You can learn more on our CPTSD Resources page about each one. Some programs meet every day, others once a week, and some are online only with no live calls.
You can also check our Calendar to see what topics are covered and when calls are held.
