General Information

Daily Recovery Support

You can learn more and get started by visiting – https://cptsdfoundation.org/dailyrecoverysupport/

Program Overview:

Trauma-informed peer support on a daily basis. A revolutionary approach with live, interactive support group calls; including screen shares, sharing opportunities, and online chat groups to participate in. Program calls are facilitated by certified coaches, licensed clinicians, peer support counselors, and advocates in the field of mental health recovery.

At the beginning of each call, the leader will welcome everyone and read over the Rules & Guidelines. Afterwhich, they will screenshare a resource related to the topic of the call; reading over, teaching, sharing, and facilitating discussions throughout the call. Members on the calls are encouraged (but never required) to share their thoughts & questions by typing in the chat box or by using their voice during the calls.

While this is not therapy, it is the type of program that can help equip trauma survivors with skills and information they can use every day in their healing. The compassionate support and validation in this, and all of our programs, can help survivors exponentially as they navigate all aspects of daily life.

Each week the Weekly Creative Group comes together to give members the opportunity to slow down, relax, and express themselves using their preferred creative outlet. Paints, coloring, sketch, arts & crafts, sewing, cooking, model building, and more….whatever you like to do to unwind and relax with some quality “you” time.

You’ll be able to settle in and work on your creative project alongside others in our safe healing space online. Your creativity is unique to you, and you are welcome here with us, just as you are.

The call leader will play relaxing music and offer encouragement as each member works on their individual projects. There may also be optional group projects available for everyone to work on.

Cameras are optional on these calls. The call leader will angle their camera on their project, and share as they work. If you would like to share your creativity with the group, you are always welcome to do so, however, there is never any pressure or requirement to share.

In addition, you can join our Weekly Creative Group private forum and interact with other members throughout the week; including sharing your creative projects and ideas.

Daily Encouraging Text

You can learn more and get started with this program by clicking here – https://cptsdfoundation.org/text

As survivors, we can all use a little more encouragement in our lives. One simple text, each day, offering you a word of validation and hope, can make all the difference. A simple message that reminds you each day that you are not alone can give you that extra boost of motivation to keep taking the next step in your own journey.

Every text from CPTSD Foundation is designed and created to help you feel supported, encouraged, and filled with hope as you navigate daily life as a survivor.

From inspiring quotes, links to great resources, or encouraging meme’s, it’s our hope that your life will be positively impacted by taking this small step to help make your healing a priority.

For those outside of the US or Canada, we also have an International plan avavilable.

Trauma Informed Yoga

You can learn more and get started with Trauma-Informed Yoga by clicking here – https://cptsdfoundation.org/traumainformedyoga/

This program meets on Saturdays at 11 am eastern, on Zoom. Recordings of each class are available in your members area.

Using movement and the practice of yoga as an invitation to shift the focus and power from the external to the internal. How would you like to move? How does it feel inside to make choices in the present moment?

Each week we will come together to share time and movement, an authentic shared experience, where there may be moments where you begin to feel your embodied self. Oftentimes, and in service of survival, we disconnect from what it feels like inside and what it feels like to make choices based on what we’re feeling. During this hour, you’re welcome to explore and experiment with present moment choice making, with noticing sensation, and the experience of participating with other people in our community, whether live or recorded.

Cameras are optional: You’re welcome to keep your camera on or off; the facilitator will have their camera on during each class.

There is no expectation to be a certain fitness level or have any previous yoga experience. You may participate with the movement in whatever way feels useful and safe for you.

We want to acknowledge your courage in showing up for yourself in this way and we’re honored to be with you.

We meet for 60 minutes on Saturday mornings at 11am EST. Each class will consist of 45 minutes of movement and then time for some thoughts and questions at the end of the session. We will also have private group platform where the facilitator will be sharing some links and resources and a place for us to connect during the week.

What is needed:
If you’d like, you’re welcome to practice on a yoga mat or in a chair.

CPTSD Peer Support Chat Group

You can learn more and get started with this program by clicking here – https://cptsdfoundation.org/peer-support-chat-group/

This group is available via a private, online, forum on a platform called, Circle. You can access the group via your computer, iOS app for your phone, or mobile browser on any device. Android app is coming soon.

CPTSD Foundation is proud and honored to help support survivors all types of trauma, by offering a validating and encouraging virtual support group called, CPTSD Peer Support Chat. We have been offering this group for survivors of trauma since 2014.

This space allows you to come and receive the support you deserve. A place where your voice is heard, your feelings validated, and where encouragement is always in abundant supply from others who know what it means to struggle in daily life as a survivor.

The group is peer lead, and moderated by CPTSD Foundation staff. It is not a substitute for therapy or a replacement for medical or mental health care. It is a space to come and interact with other trauma survivors, to share and help encourage one another.

New members are able to join for a small monthly membership fee of $5.00 (USD) per month. This small fee helps us offset the cost of maintaining the platform so we can continue to provide a safe place, off of social media groups, for all members. In addition, it helps us to continue creating programs and resources for survivors.

Coaching

We are so pleased to offer you the opportunity for your very own Discovery Session.

You can learn more about this program by clicking here – https://cptsdfoundation.org/coaching/

As an organization focused on providing programs and resources for trauma survivors, we are keenly aware of the importance of having a multi-faceted support system. Essentially, the more support and resources you have, the more empowered you feel and the more encouraged you are to continue.

Working with a therapist is the foundation of healing; it’s where you take those first steps of reaching out and sharing your trauma story with someone safe who is trained to help you work through your past. As you continue through therapy, in time, you come to a point where you feel more grounded, stable, and ready to take some new steps of exploring life outside of the laser focused lens of trauma recovery.

That’s not to say that we ever stop healing, but rather, as we continue to heal, we feel more empowered and stable, and ready to try new things we could never have dreamed of before.

That’s where this coaching program comes in, an opportunity to take one of those new steps.

Rates for this program are based on each individual coach and client situation. All coaches have their own hourly, weekly, or monthly rates that can be discussed if you decide to move forward in the program after your free, no obligation, discovery call.

Trauma-Informed Partner Support

You can learn more about this program and get started by visiting: https://cptsdfoundation.org/partners/

This program focuses solely on providing a safe, supportive, and informative place for anyone who is involved in the life of a trauma-survivor. Spouses, partners, caregivers, siblings, close friends, colleagues; you are a vitally important aspect of healing and support for the survivor in your life.

Your role as a supporter can make all the difference for someone who is navigating daily life in the wake of a traumatic past. Your compassion and dedication to providing a safe place for the survivor in your life, means they have that space to “just be.” That type of space shows them that not only are you safe and you are on their side, but also models the type of people they want to seek out as they continue to grow and form new relationships of all types.

Your survivor likely has a therapist, coach, support group, and other resources to aid in their recovery; however, as a supporter, you need help and access to resources as well.

This program is for you!
